QUESTION: Dear Sir,
The cabin temperature control in my 2006 Kia Optima 2.0l is not responding and hence the system continues to cool and becomes too cold for comfort. What could be the problem?

ANSWER: HI Yasin

Have you owned the vehicle from the beginning or did you purchase used.  If used did it ever work properly or did it just start now.  Let me know and I'll try and help.

QUESTION: Hi Candido,
I have owned the vehicle from the beginning. However, in February of 2009 a defective Field Coil Assy.for the A/C Clutch part # 97641 3K220 was replaced and the A/C system worked perfectly after that.

Answer
Try turning the ac button off and make sure the compressor stops working.  If it does not then go to the relay and pull it out and see if it stops.  If the compressor continues then you have something rigged.  If i stop with the button then get me the pressures and we will see from there.
