Auto body repair & detailing: Touch up paint, 3m machine, honda pilot

Question
I have a 2003 Honda Pilot with some areas all around the car that I used touch up paint. It looks better than it was but now after waxing the car, I see all the areas where the wax is ineffective or absent. How do I get these to look better ?

Also a friend mentioned that using a motorized buffer may leave circular streaks in the paint job. Is this true ?

Answer
Use a machine buffer on the areas. Use a 3M foam pad and 3M heavy duty compound. After the areas look better then go over it with some 3M machine glaze and a 3M machine glaze pad. This will not leave swirls. After you are done with the machine buffer go over the car with a very very soft cloth.
