Auto body repair & detailing: Teflon Spray Wax Problems?, teflon spray, auto body shop

Question
Hello,
I Had been using Dupont's Teflon Spray Wax for a few months when I started to notice the clear coat starting to peel. It seems than the teflon got under the paint through small chips caused by road debris.  I discontinued using the product, however, the paint is still slowly peeling.  Ive had the car for more than a year with no problems using other products.
Have you ever heard of a problem of this type?

Thank You very much,
B Heal

Answer
No.  I've never heard of any problems.  Doing a Google search is the best way to see postings about the product.  DuPont I'm sure tested the product thoroughly seeing as we are a sue happy society, and logically would think your problem isn't related to the wax.  Bring it to an auto body shop and get their opinion.  They are very aware of certain models/colors that are notorious for problems and may even point you to a recall/warranty that will take care of you on this.
Hope you get your problem solved, that is very disappointing, I'm sure.
