Auto body repair & detailing: Repair or Replace Bumper, paint damage, honda accord

Question
I have a 2004 Honda Accord.  Recently while parked at a shopping mall, an elderly man hit the rear bumper on my car from the back around to the wheel.  This is a fiberglass bumper and has some very deep cuts and severe paint damage.  Many people have said that I should have it replaced because once they sand it down and apply Bondo and repaint it that in the future it may crack having a "spider-web" like effect.  What is your opinion, should I have it repaired or replaced?

Answer
If the damage is not broke all the way through then it can be repaired. If you take it to a good dealership owned body shop then they will have a warranty to make sure you never have problems down the road. Or advise you that it is more cost effective to replace.
