How do I go about repairing a small portion of the rocker panel that has rusted out on my 1989 Plymouth Voyager?

Answer
First you grind area of rust down to bare metal with 24 grit griding disk. You then cut a metal patch out of sheet metal slightly larger than the rusted area and bend to fit over the rust. You can than weld in place or use 3M panel adhesive to glue in place avaiable at your local Napa type store. Glue and clamp in place.Grind and fiberglass and bondo then prime and paint.
