Question
There are 2 metal brackets glued to the window that fit the ball bearing to secure the glass to the regulator.

One of the brackets has partially split and broken from the glass, but the glass is not broken.

What are my options? Can the metal piece be welded back without damaging the glass?  How can the glue be loosened to remove the broken bracket from the window?

Question -
My driver side window is off track.
When i attempt to lower the window, one side falls further down than the other. There is also a loud popping sound, but the glass has not broken yet.

should i have the window replaced or some other component?

do i have to go back to the dealer

Answer -
Most likley it just needs to be adjusted. you wont know untill you get into the door. The popping sound could be the window regulator.

Answer
The track is glued to the window and comes with a new glasss. Welding is not a good idea for a track. The glass sits down in there and if one weld burr is not taken care of you could pop the glass quicker than you can say oops!! You can call and see if you can get the track but i"m not sure.
