Auto body repair & detailing: 1993 ford explorer rocker panels rust, rocker panel, rocker panels

Question
i have a 1993 ford explorer, the truck runs good and has a rebuilt engine in it..however the rocer panels on both sides are rusting...can i purchase rocker panel covers( repair kit) instead of taking to autobody shop for work, they are asking way too much money to fix this..i love this truck, runs excellant and would like to keep it a little longer

check with jw witney on line  for replacment panels. or repair panel. you may get lucky. or ask around someone has to know someone that does bodywork. you can more than likly work a deal with. i wish i could be help but when it comes to rust its all a matter of cutting out ALL the old rust and replacing the parts on a 1/4 its tough due to it go's under the 1/4 panel. and they are welded on. sorry
