Question -
Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the dash on a 98 Dodge Interpid.
Answer -
take off lower trim under streering wheel and glove box 1st.
take out radio. ac heater controls. the basel may just pull off. if not it will have screws pointing upwards . lower your steering colum should be 4 bolts holding it up. under the dash. take out speed culster assy and bezel. may be screws. pointing upwards in bezel for it. next is to just look for any screws and bolts that hold it in.
NOTE make sure your battery is disconnected so air bags do not blow out..it is not a easy job just takes time . hope this helps.
a little tech tip take dig pictures as you go so you can look back on them to go together . if you need to . also use paper cups and mark them radio screws. glove box. speed cluster ..etc.etc. make is easy to go back with

Answer
ok you just want to replace the speaker. you may try just taking a screw driver under where te crack is or seam and see if it prys up  it has been a while sience any 98 dodges have been in the shop we mainly do dashs in newer car . due to air bags blowing. but from what i can remember it just pops up you will have to take down the trim from the left and right side of the wndshield. they should just pull off to.. good luck
