Auto body repair & detailing: paint, dodge durango, magnetic signs

I use magnetic signs for my business, i put them on after washing the vehicle (a '98 Dodge Durango, red) and the paint turned a whiteish color. What can i do to remove it? Is this oxidation?

Hopefully, the doors were dry before you put the signs on. I put those signs on my rollback and they started to lift the paint (not factory paint) so I left them off! Your truck has basecoat/clear paint on it (if OEM) so maybe you could try hand rubbing some light duty polishing compound on a small area, just to see what it does. I'm hoping your clear is not lifting off the basecoat, a possibility. Take it to your local body shop and ask them...they'll usually answer any questions you may have.
