Auto body repair & detailing: Quality of the paint work, paint work, paint job

Question
Hi, last December my 1981 truck had a full paint job.  The truck needed some body work, which I told the painters I would take care of, except for the pre-paint work like sanding and priming.  Now it's April and I can finally see the truck without the weather interfering, and I need an unbiased opinion.
The toolbox was white; now, in strong sunlight, you can see the white underneath the dark blue of the new paint (the truck itself was two-tone blue, now it's all dark blue).  There are a few places where the paint was allowed to form a bubble (it's not an air-pocket, just a bead). There is a chip or two in the paint. (The truck stayed at the paint shop for a week after the paint was put on, but hasn't been garage-kept since.)  The bottom corners of the bed, where the bumper curls around, are not painted.  Rust has popped up in places.
If you were me, what would you do?  Thanks, trishleen.

Answer
Hello Trishleen,
Did the body shop give you a warrenty on the paint work?  If they did, you should take it bsck to them and show them the problems you have found.  If they did not, you can still take it back to them, show them the problems and see what they will do.
Thank you,
Mike and Lisa
