QuestionStuck in valet.Tried removing fuses and disconnected battery. still wont come out of valet mode new install horn does not sound at all. 1997 Suburu legacy l wagon hooked brown wire to horn relay. checked relay with test light 3 wire relay one wire hot all the time one wire sounds horn and lights test light when touched with test light last wire when touched does nothing instructions call for (-) input. should i have hooked it to the wire that sounds horn and lights test light when touched?
AnswerPlease try to locate the valet switch
to overide the alarm.
If you would read some of the previous
posts I made on this subject, you will
see the procedure to toggle into and out
of valet/override mode. It allows
you to set and reset the starter kill mechanism
as well as all other standard alarm features.
This should also apply to yours.
