Car Alarms: car alarm, ford taurus, 1997 ford taurus

Question
Just randomly the horn will beep on and off and the lights flash on and off. How do I deactivate this function.  The car is an 1997 ford Taurus

Check the strength of the Battery when this happens.
Factroy alarms detect battery drain. That's all they can do,
If it detects a spike of 2% it will report it.

Best to not recharge an older battery in these cases but
to replace with a fresh one.
