Car Alarms: Cobra goldline 6019, car wont start, pajero

ok  im really stuck, we have inherited a Pajero which has been fitted with a cobra Goldline alarm immobiliser. The battery was completely dead and hasnt been driven for a few years so sent it to mitsubishi for service. however eventhough they have changed the battery the car wont start. we have turned the immobiliser off using the key and turning the actual unit next to the battery off but its still not working .....i think they might have done something wrong when they changed the actual battery. can anyone help. thanks
