Car Alarms: Alpine SEC8447A, siren alarm, hole in the roof

Question
I recently purchased a 99 Miata which has an Alpine SEC8447 remote. It locks/unlocks the doors and also sets a siren alarm. It used to sound the siren if someone simply brushed against the car. That was a good thing for a convertible! I had no problems when it did that. However, I must have turned the sensitivity down by accident and since then someone slit a hole in the roof. :( So I'm hoping to find instructions for the remote or system so I can turn the sensitivity up again. Can you help me with that or point me in the right direction? Thanks for any help you can give me!
