Car Alarms: Vision VIII (Falcon?) Paging Car Alarm, car alarm installation, lightning bolt

I just bought this alarm from a discount stereo shop.  The box said Vision VIII alarm, and it also said Made in USA.  The pager and remote both say Vision. The manual I was given says falcon 600 paging security system, and the drawing of the pager is the same pager I have, except the drawing says Falcon and not Vision.  What alarm do I have?

And more importantly, how do I set the time on the pager? The pager has the blue arm button with chirp, the red arm silent, and 2 grey buttons, one with an asterik and the other a lightning bolt. On the back is a button the same color as the case, and it has a P on it. What do the *, bolt and P do?
