Car Alarms: Car Alarm, pontiac gt, car alarm

I have a 2008 Pontiac GT G-5.  Recently the alarm started going off randomly.  This is a factory installed alarm.  I ordered my car in September of 2008 and ordered the alrm to get put in when they made the car.  I received my car in October 2007 and this is the first time this has happened.  Any suggestions as to what is causing the problem>  Thank you.
