Car Alarms: Uninstall Car Alarm, alarmtek, wire colors

Hello,

I was wondering if you would be able to help me with a problem with my 1996 Nissan 200sx. They guy before me put in a aftermarket Alarm System. As far as I know of it never worked. I know the wires were hooked up though. I wanted to get rid of it so I did disconnect all the wires from it and reconnect the ignition wire that was spliced into. The rest of the wires had clips on them so I just undid the clips. These wires were never cut. After I did all of this, i don't have any power at all. I do have power at the battery. i did check all of my fuses. They look good.
Do you have any steps on solutions i could walk through to determine the cause?
