Car Alarms: aftermarket alarm, chevy malibu, brain box

I need to find the model# and make(name) of the aftermarket alarm in my chevy malibu 2001. I'm trying to get a keyless remote for it and can't get it without this information. It is suppose to be under the dash and I can't seem to find it. Please help.

Hard to say what it is unless it's printed on the brain box
under the dash.

Take the vehicle to the local car alarm and stereo shop
so they can fish it out, and provide advice at that point.
