Car Alarms: car alarm, resident technicians, car alarm

I had a car alarm on my 1993 mx6 and i decided to change it out for a new one....well when i hooked up the door lock part of it i hit the button and nothing happened but a little clicking sound and i felt the locks and hit it and i could tell it was trying to work so i took it off and hooked the actuators to a direct - and + and they worked .....i was wondering if the alarm was messed up or don't have enough power to unlock or lock the doors

be without first hand inspection. If you
