Question
The "after-market" alarm system needs to be deactivated.
We tried pushing the valet button but it does not hold.
We don't want to pay the hundreds of dollars to activate
this crazy system - what can we do?  It's gone off several
times and is making the neighbors and us crazy!

Hmmmm,
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

KEY ON JUST BEFORE CRANKING ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.
KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.
