Car Alarms: 791xv car alarm remote, keyless entry systems, car alarms

my car got broke into not too long ago and they couldn't steal my car so they stole my alarm brain, which is pretty gay. So I looked around on ebay for the brain only so i bought it and I plugged everything in just like plug and play and whatever was missing i bought the parts for it and everything seem fine. Then I tried to program the remote but it did not work. Even followed the direction with the valet button and leave the driver door open and press and hold the valet til it chirp and press the unlock on the remote until the siren go off. did i do anything wrong there? still does not work. I have two 791xv remote and it was program to the brain that was in my car before could that be the problem? or is it my transmitter is messed up on the brain? because i have two transmitter one in my car still and one came with the brain when i bought it on ebay.
