Car Alarms: Elantra CAR unlock problem using RKE, remote keyless entry, hyunadi

I have a hyunadi elantra 2002. Yesterday morning I was not able to open the car door using the remote keyless entry. Some how it did not open the door. When I returned from home and tried it again it worked. Today morning again the same problem I was not able to open the door.  Temperature has been very cold yesterday and today. Not sure what the problem is in the morning? Any clues what could be the issue?

Answer
It's likely it is receiving interferance during the
morning location attempts. The temp should not effect
the remote signal from opening and closing the locks
unless they are possibly after market door lock actuators
and need adjusting. I am more inclined to beleive
the trouble might be signal usage, and location you
are attempting to use it.

Try parking elsewhere and try the next day to
see if the simple act of moving the locale did
the trick.  

If it did, not a lot you can do about it other
then replace the unit.
