Car Alarms: remote start program questions, door locks, remote start

i recently purchased a 160xv viper remote start. I would like to change the running time of 12 mins to 24 mins...how do you exactly perform that? Next, i would like to change my parking lights to constant, not flashing, how do i program them to stay on constant during the remote start? And finally, i would like to change the locking mode from passive to active, since i cant stand how they lock in like 30 secs? Sorry so many questions but no one will help me...

All of these options are in the installation manual, and are very easy to program.  I am not sure why most installers do not give their customers the installation manual with their systems.  I personally set all of my starters (I use DEI exclusively) to 24 minutes with steady parking lights and turn off the ignition controlled door locks (most vehicles have their own auto door locking feature anyway).  Anyway you can grab the installation manual for your system at this link:

Follow the instructions to the letter, as most people wind up programming the feature before the one they actually want to program.  You must select your menu, then select the feature, then hold the button to change the feature.  It is all explained in the manual just be sure to follow it step by step.
