Car Alarms: transmitter button reprogram, lexus 300, bitwriter

Question
I have a valet 554r installed on a 1997 lexus 300 es. this alarm came with 2-remotes. a 4-button std and a 477t 2-way with a lcd front.
now the std remote i presume came preprogramed, because it has alwas worked. while trying to get the 2-way working I have inadvertly programed the arm/lock button to auto start? I t6hought I understood that if I programmed a unprogrammed button on the 2-way to channel 19 [delete all transmitters] I could start over? For some reason every time I try and do this it just makes the 2-way beep and display the vehicle page indicator. Do I need a dealer to reprogram this with a bitwriter?

I will differ this one to the guys who sell this
unit in my forum. Please take this question
to www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com  and see if the guys there
can help. I would also look in the user manual
to reset the system to the default mode. That
would reset it all and return it back to pre
"messed with" operation.
Just spitballin here though since I do not
handle that piece here.
