Car Stereos: bridge, audio terminology, model numbers

Question
can to voice speakers be bridge together? If yes,how can you go about doing that?

Answer
Hi Charlie,

I'm not sure I understand your question.  In car audio terminology, "bridging" means combining two amplifier channels into a single channel with more power.

Two different speakers can usually be wired together on a single amplifier channel; but the wiring setup will depend on the impedance of the speakers, and the type of amplifier.

If you'd like to submit a follow-up question with more details, I'll see if I can give you a more useful answer.  Just tell me what equipment you have (brands and model numbers, if possible) and describe what you're trying to do with it, and I'll let you know what your options are.

Thanks

Brian
