Car Stereos: traffic pro for porsche, antenna adapters, antenna wire

Can a traffic pro radio be installed in a 2003 911 if the antenna wire is cut?  I have the antenna and traffic pro that was in a 2003 Boxster.  Can the wire just be clipped together?

Hi Nick,

Unfortunately, antenna wires are INCREDIBLY sensitive, and the slightest increase impedance in the wire will cause your radio reception to go down the drain.  Generally, you want to replace any broken wires, and install antenna adapters for any necessary connection differences.
