i want to get a new double din receiver for my 2002 chevy cavalier but i was told i need a lot of parts for it to work and not turn my check engine light on and allow it to pass inspection. i know i want a kenwood dpx302 receiver but i dont know if it would work? What else do i need for it to work? thankyou.

Yes, it will work. and yes you are going to need some parts, like an antenna adapter, a data bus interface and the installation kit. you can go to

they have everything you need there. or you can visit your local car audio store, and get all you need there.

the only thing im not sure, but i can find out tomorrow, its if a double din would work on ur car, since the opening from the factory radio might be smaller then the opening for a double din.
