Car Stereos: my car audio, car stereo system, cd rom drive

i would like to know if there is anyway that i could connect my computers cd reader to my car stereo system to play mp3..

Hi Mevin,

I'm not sure what you mean by your computer's CD reader.

If you want to hook your laptop up to your car stereo, that might be possible.  If your car has an auxilliary input, you can plug into that with the speaker/line out on your laptop and play MP3s.  If you mean a standard CD ROM drive from a computer, then no, since it can't play mp3s either without the help of computer software, plus the fact that its IDE connection most certainly isn't compatible with your car stereo.
