Car Stereos: Cable cord for stereo, antenna cable, radio

Question
I have a problem with the aux cable cord in my car, it leads all the way to the antenna, but how do you take it out? The problem is that someone stole the radio and ripped the front metal part of the cable, I was trying to fix it by taking the cord out but it seemed difficult. Should I splice the wires with another cord tip or take the cord out, I really would like to listen to the radio but if not then ill have to deal with no sound while driving.

Answer
hi Chris.

When u say aux cable cord, are you referring to the antenna cable?.
if they ripped the antenna cable im afraid that your gonna have to replace it for a new one, you dont have to take it off completely you can just run a new one from the antenna to the radio, and leave the existing one there just unplug it from the antenna and plug the new one to it.
