Answer
Hi David.

You can simply pull the dash panel off with little effort. You may or may not have to lower your tilt wheel in order to do this. The dash panel is held in with retaining clips which do not require any screws (some models might have 2 or 3 torx screws on the lower dash panel), or  fancy maneuvering to remove. The radio itself is held in with 2 screws. I believe these screws need a nut driver to remove. When replacing the radio with an aftermarket system be sure to make a note where the wire harnesses rest because you will need to put them back in order to fit any DIN style reciever. Aftermarket conversion kits (panels, harness clips, ect ect) can be bought by at any Auto Stereo shop. If you want to make your installation as simple as possible, go visit, www.crutchfield.com and order a conversion kit Also, if you want to completely remove the dash parts, you need to disconect the parking brake lever, light switch, temp/vent/a/c wiring. AND, if you have an automatic, you need to shut it off in D1 so you can get the top dash over the shifter arm.
