Car Stereos: 2004 Impala CD Player, message on the radio, imapala

I'm trying to replace a tape player in my 2004 Imapala with a factory CD player taken from a salvage vehicle.  I get a locked message on the radio display.  I understand this is a security measure.  Is there any way to install the CD player?

Yes there is a way to install it you only need to get the code that belongs to that radio, if you can go back to the auto salvage and ask them for the owners manual for that car, the code its ussually written on a little card or sometimes inside the owners manual. if you cannot find the original manual for it then go to the dealership and have them reset the head unit, of course they are gonna charge you and its not gonna be cheap but if you wanna keep that factory look i would go for it.
