I STAY IN DETROIT I LOVE WORKING ON CARS I'M 18 AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO START MY DREAM RACING WORKING ON CAR'S ALL DAY HELP MY OUT PLEASE AND I HAD A GOOD SCHOOL YEAR

Find the local stock car track in the Detroit area, and start attending races. Be sure to buy the "Pit Pass" for each weekend.  Then while in the pits, introduce yourself to the mechanics and drivers and offer to work for them .  Offer to work free if they need it, and then do it.  Gain experience that way and help them that way and maybe someone will offer you a job that pays.

It takes time and commitment but if you stay in school, and stay clean, you may just find the place you wans and make your dream come true.
