BMW Repair: BMW 1996 Rear hub removal., parking brakes, brake rotor

Hello, I would like to change the rear brake shoes on my 1996 BMW. How do I get the hub off? Do I need to remove the ' torque ' link nut? If so where do I get a tool from? Thanks!

Ian your working on a 1996 BMW what? (3,5,7, Z3?) Is this a U.S. market car? BMW's haven't had drum brakes since E30 in the early 90's. Are you refering to the parking brake shoes? Are you trying to get the brake rotor off? Our parking brakes are drum brakes inside the rotor. Let me know.
