hi rob
everytime i went to start the car then starter would just spin over first time but not start the engine, it started getting worse so i replaced the starter and it was all fine, about 3 days later the starter has compleately stoped working and wont even spin over, what do you think? i will check to see if i can hear nething happening and maybe hit it with a hammer because it could be stuck? otherwise i have no clue.

Hi.

When you replaced the starter, did you replace the solenoid as well? Tapping it with a hammer will possibly free up the solenoid/bendix if it has jammed, but it seem strange that you should have the same problem unless the same soledoid was used.

Please let me know if it A) free's up after being persuaded by your hammer And B) if the solenoid was replaced at the same time.
