BMW Repair: transmission change over, manual tranny, clutch pedal

I would like to change transmission from automatic standard.How hard would that be?

 "Hard" is a relative term.  What's hard to me, may be easy for you.  I would not say that it's a "hard" job, just time consuming.  

 You will want to gather EVERY piece needed before starting.  Manual tranny, flywheel, new clutch, driveshaft, shifter and linkage, clutch pedal assembly, master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch hydraulic lines, and plenty of room.

 It could be done in a day (8-hours), if you know what you are doing.
