BMW Repair: brakes/ Rear disc 1989 325is 4 lug hub, allen bolt, rear bearings


Question
Rear disc has metric allen bolt to hold it on what size?. Also hints to remove nut to remove hub/wheel bearing assembly. Any place on line to view repair diagrams. Thanks for your help.

 I dont know what size allen bolt it is, off the top of my head.  I think you can get one for a few cents at the local dealership.  For your information, it's not NEEDED, because it's only job is to hold the rotor from turning once you put the wheel on (it aids in installing the lug nuts).  So your car isn't going to break or fall apart because it's missing, it just may take an extra second to get the wheels on.
The rear bearings aren't too bad to replace.  Remove the rear axle and then pull the hub off, and you'll see the bearing.
