BMW Repair: 1986 325e check lights and blower motor, switch problem, check button

Question
VIN Number:  WBAAE5408G1506299

1986 325e E30

I just purchased this car with 198,000 miles.  It has been taken care of by BMW lovers all its life, and it shows.  Lovely condition.  Anyway, there are a few questions I'm hoping you can help me with.  I'm pretty handy when applying good advice.

1.  The blower motor for the heater/ac only blows air on the highest setting.  Is the switch needing replacement?  something else causing this?

2.  When I push the "check" button on the overhead display, the "coolant" light does not come on.

3.  The dash is fully lit, but the lights behind the blower motor switch and the right half of the air control sliders are out.  Is this a fuse?  bulbs?  Is it worth getting in there and replacing them?

4.  The rear windows can be lowered and raised using the switches in the front of the car, but not using the switches on the windows' doors.  Is this most likely a local switch problem?  Easy to replace?

The brakes and radiator are brand new, replaced just before I purchased the car.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Answer
You should check the resistors near the fan motor. It is located behind the firewall plate.
The coolant bulb must be burnt,as they should all come on when the button in depressed.
I would live with it if all the other needed bulbs work.
And as the windows go check the switches on the door an easy replacement.
