BMW Repair: Crackling noise in sound system, crackling noise, audio experts

325iX 1990 When adjusting the volume there is a noise out of the speakers like loud static for a short time. Same for CD or radio. Can not tell which speaker.

 This may not be a speaker problem.  It may be in the head unit it's self.  Also it could be feed back from the Alternator, however it rarely crackles like this.  I would check with one of the Audio experts to see if they know exactly what the problem is.
