BMW Repair: 1991 325i turning issue, wheel bearing, suspension geometry

Question
I have a 1991 325i with just over 100k miles on it.  I've noticed that
when I turn left, the car has a dramatic increase in road noise and
starts to vibrate a little bit. However when I turn right, the road
noise decreases and the car feels really smooth.  I'd appreciate any
insight you have.
Thanks,
Jeff

Answer
Jeff,
If it sounds like a "roaring" noise, then it's likely a wheel bearing.  Try to note whether it's coming from the front of rear wheels.  Either way it's not a bad fix.  It could be something in the suspension geometry that is off, causing the tires to roar a little more.

 Hope this helps,
 Josh
