GMC Repair: tpms, gmc serria, gmc

hi i have a 2008 gmc serria and would like to replace my tires but question i'd like to ask is do i have to recalbrate the tire mointing for it to work right again or just replace the tires

if you install the wheels on the same positions as they were before you take them off, then no you do not have to.  Just mark the wheels before you install new tires and reinstall them in the same spots, otherwise you will need to re-calibrate the system
