GMC Repair: air conditioner, malibu classic, refrigerant charge

QUESTION: on a 2005 malibu classic im having trouble with the ac. while your driving it will be blowing good and then will quit blowing at all for about couple minutes then start back cooling. it will do this about every 20 minutes. the air is cold as it ever was so i dont think its low of refrigerant. any idea? thanks

Does it actually quit blowing air, as if the fan stops, or does it just quit blowing cold air, yet blows as if the fan is still blowing?

QUESTION: im sorry i said quit but it keeps blowing just not cold. so the fan is still going.

I would first take it and have the refrigerant charge checked FIRST.
Most shops offer a free or reduced price or set price air conditioner check.
That would be my best advice for now.
