American Motors: 1972 360 Engine, steel line, american performance

Question
Kevin,
Seems like I read some where that the oil pressure/distribution within the engine can be improved by a modification of adding fittings and line on the top of the block.  Sorry for lack of specifics.  Thank You in advance.

Answer
There is a kit available that includes a 3/8" braided steel line and two 90 degree fittings. It is mounted under the intake manifold. It runs from the front cam bearing to the rear cam bearing. Two holes must be drilled into the block to thread the fittings.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to locate the manufactuer of this modification. American Performance Procucts in Cocoa, FL had it in stock at one time. You might try contacting them via phone.
