American Motors: dashboard gauge not working right, speedometer cable, printed circuit board

i have 1980 eagle wagon and my fuel and temp gauges don't work along with half the lights for my gauges and i cant get to the back of the gauges and i cant get them out. how do i fix them with out causing more problems?

Reach your hand up under the dash so as you can feel the speedometer cable and follow the cable to the back of the instrument cluster where you will feel a metal clip.

push this metal clip towards you and the speedometer cable will come loose so you can remove the dash.

Most likely the printed circuit board has cracked on the backside of the instrument panel.
