Audio Systems: VW Passat 6 disc CD Changer Suppliers, wiring harnesses, aftermarket installations

Hi,

I have a 2000 VW Passat with a Monsoon 6 CD player that frequently doesn't work any longer. I am having trouble finding a replacement CD player. How do I know that the CD changer will be compatible?

Best place to go for that is crutchfield.com  where they can guide you to replacements.  Go to:

and click on "what fits your car" and it will lead you to some suggestions.

You do not need to purchase from Crutchfield but if you do they can supply you with installation guide and wiring harnesses to make it work in your car.  They are the masters at aftermarket installations.
