Audio Systems: wireing my dual voice coil subs, dual voice coil, ohm subs

Question
I have two Kicker Comp VR 05CVR104  4ohm dual voice coil subs, and a 2x400W Legacy Predator LA-568 2-CH amp. In the manual it says not to run 2 4ohm subs in parallel to the bridged channel. What I want to know is if there is a way I can wire my "dual" voice coiled subs to the bridged channel. Or would I be better off just going stereo, and if I do go stereo would it be better to wire the coils in series or a parallel. Your advice is needed. Thanks

Answer
well the manual is right,  but you dont have to worry about that since you dont have 4 ohm subs, you have DUAL 4 ohm subs.  so wire each sub's pair of coils in series then each sub will be 8 ohms.  In other words, on 1 sub wire a posative over to the farthest negative putting the sub's 2 coils in series.  then do that on the other sub.  Then wire both subs to the amps' bridged connection.  this will run the amp in 4 ohm mono mode which its designed to do.  check out this diagram.  the 2nd picture shows your situation exactly:

Good luck!
