Hi,

 I'd be happy to help.

Could you tell me the brand/model of surround-sound receiver, brand/model DVD, brand/model digital cable box, etc.?

If you remember any operational details about your original set-up (e.g. "I never had to change anything on the surround-sound receiver, just popped in a DVD and it automatically switched." or "I always switched between 'source 1' and source 2'") that would also be informative and would ensure that the one way of 10 that I give you is the same way you had it before.

Answer
Hi Vivian,

I do apologize for keeping you waiting.

Option 1
If you have a "Co-Ax Digital Audio" output (it looks just like a regular audio out - the round barrel with a hole in the middle) out of you Motorolla and a matching (Aux digital in) on the DVD player I typically recommend that people do the following:
Digital Co-ax out from Motorolla tuner
to
Aux Digital Co-ax in on Koss DVD

(if you DON'T have a digital co-ax out fromt the cable-box, or you don't have an "Aux Co-ax digital" on the DVD player, you may also simply connect the two using a Co-ax TV hook-up cable - the kind that you screw on like the one from your wall to your cable box.  You won't have surround sound while watching Cable TV though)

then
Digital out from Koss DVD
to
Digital in on Surround Sound Processor

-that way you don't have to switch sources on the surround sound processor, it should happen automatically when you turn the DVD player on and pop in a disc, and switch back to the TV sound when you

Option 2
Simply connect digital audio from your TV to digital input 1 on the Surround Sound processor, and the Digital audio from the DVD to digital input 2 on the Surround sound processor
-you will have to physically switch between input 1 and 2 on the processor to hear the sound from the source you're currently watching.

I hope this is what you are looking for.  If you also need help connecting speakers let me know.
