Audio Systems: Installing a sony CDX-GT200, sony cdx gt200, electric antenna

I just bought a Sony CDX-GT200 for my 1997 honda civic and I seem to have got all the wiring right but it doesnt turn on.... I'm trying to replace my factory radio.

and towards the bottom of this multiple picture page you will find the wiring information and colors, etc.

Make sure you have the two (or three) power wires connected properly.  One is for the main amp power on the Sony, one comes from the ignition to turn it on and a third one may have to do with the antenna if you have electric antenna gizmo.

But make sure of the wiring; a mistake can blow the new unit, so check it over until you are sure beyond any shadow of a doubt.  I personally, don't trust the color codes and wiring information, so I check them out with a VOM to make sure.

Did you get a wiring adaptor with the radio?  You must have the right one, or splice and tape them so the wires end up in the proper place......
