Audio Systems: radio installation, car stereo removal, google search

Question
can you please tell me how to take the radio out of a 2000 durango. can't get the front off the dash to take out the old one

Answer
Hello,

Although it should be clear from my profile that I'm not the  best person to tell you how to do intsallation/removal, there is an enormous amount of information out there to help.

Surfing around the web for a minute it seemed to me that it's pretty simple - carfully pry/unsnap the black trim ring from around the stereo and then undo the two screws securing the chassis.

A quick google search should bring up carstereoremoval.com:
http://www.carstereoremoval.com/htm/stereoremovalDodgeDurango98_00P.htm

- you can also try crutchfield, diy-stereo, etc. for free.

Or you can go to your local autoparts store and get a mechanic's diagram book - like Chilton's - that has more useful information.

If you need more help I can recommend other experts in this category that specialize in car stereo removal, like Kelly.

I wish you luck!
