Audio Systems: Car CD, mazda mx 6, wire harness

Hi, I have a Mazda MX-6 93. I have been using my CD player for a few years already. However, after i ejected my cd, i couldn't insert cd into my cd player, no matter how i push the cd, it won't go in and pull automatically. other things like radio still can work properly.  It seems the sensor cannot detect any cds and pull it into the cd player. What should I do? thanks

  It sounds like the motor that grips and pulls in and also ejects the cd could be bad... that is the most common thing that happens the real only cure is replacement of the unit , if its factory this is more relevent of a cure than if it was aftermarket because you can visit the companies website and check to see if you can send it in for repair * not usually a cost efficent fix* but if you are attached to the unit alot of people will send them in .. my recommendation is stop by wal-mart or visit etronics.com *thats where i order from* pick out a new cd player that fits your budget and your music and install it .. make sure to buy a wire harness adapter to make everything easy to wire in .. if you need anything else or i missed something let me know
