Audi Repair: 2002 Audi Error Codes, 2002 audi a4, long holidays

Question
Hello Greg,

I have a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Sport. I have the engine check light on since a couple of months. I went to Auto Zone to find the exact errors and got the following error codes (P0030, P0302, P0352). I am guessing the main problem may be with the O2 Sensor at Bank 1 Sensor 1; although, I am not sure about it and would like your opinion on it. In addition, is there any easy way to manually fix it?

Occasionally, after long drives (around 250 miles non-stop) the car start knocking when it comes to a stop. The engine check light starts blinking too. I need to turn off the car for around 5-10 minutes and then restart again, and then it is normal again.

Thanks,
Harry.

Answer
hello
sorry it took so long, --holidays--
P0030 - right front O2 sensor needs to be replace
P0302 - misfire cyl.# 2
P0352 - ignition problem on cyl #2
when your check engine start to blink it means misfires . 99% of the time is bad coil. We replace more than 100 of them , so just replace #2 COIL. Also , O2 sensor needs to be replace, there is no other fix.
good luck   greg
